Dry cleaning at Dalian Precision Casting Factory includes friction cleaning and shot blasting cleaning. The so-called dry treatment generally refers to shot blasting cleaning. Shot blasting cleaning refers to the process of using compressed air as a power source to spray a projectile onto the surface of a workpiece at a speed of approximately 50m/s, in order to clean the sticky sand or oxide scale on its surface. Shot blasting is relatively flexible and a reliable supplement to shot blasting cleaning. At present, shot blasting is the main method for surface cleaning of precision casting products in China. With the development of shot blasting technology, in addition to casting cleaning, it is also applied to surface strengthening of metal parts, steel descaling and rust removal, and shot blasting forming.

For castings with complex shapes such as deep holes, blind holes, and inner cavities, it has a relatively reliable cleaning effect.

It refers to a method of using high-pressure water input from a high-pressure water pump to form a high-pressure jet through the nozzle of a spray gun, which is directed towards the molding sand and sand core on the surface of the casting for sand cleaning. Mainly suitable for surface sanding and core cleaning of larger cast iron parts.

It is to lift precision casting products with sand at the corresponding temperature into a water tank, and the water entering the hot sand mold and sand core is heated and vaporized. As the water vaporizes and the steam continues to be heated, the pressure continues to increase, and the sand mold and sand core "collapse" and fall off from the surface and inner cavity of the casting, thus achieving the purpose of sand cleaning.
